When two teams disagree, Ringi asks each person where they stand, privately, on their own time. It pins down what the fight is actually about, then writes a one-screen brief with a straight recommendation. The brief goes to every stakeholder for a sign-off stamp. If someone can't stamp it, Ringi works the objection one-on-one until a version exists that everyone can.

Ringi DMs each person for their actual position. Everyone answers before they see anyone else's take.

Seals, not sign-offs
Every stakeholder stamps the brief. An objection opens a quiet one-on-one round, nemawashi style, until a stampable version exists. Decided means unanimous: named and logged.
Why “ringi”?
In Japanese companies, a 稟議 (ringi) proposal circulates from desk to desk. Each stakeholder reads it and weighs in. Then they stamp it with their seal. By the time it reaches the last desk the decision is made, and nobody called a meeting.
Ringi does the same for your Slack workspace, minus the paperwork. It circulates the question and works the objections quietly. Then it collects the seals and remembers the decision by name.
